Solution of Quadratic Equation by Quadratic Formula Part-2
In the previous post that is the Part-1 of this topic, the derivation of the quadratic formula was carried out. To see it, click here.
This post is just showing how the formula can be applied to solve quadratic equations.

Solution of Quadratic Equation by the Quadratic Formula Part 1
One has explained the solution of quadratic equation using completing the square method. To see the method of completing the square see here.
Solution of Quadratic Equations by Completing the Square Method(Continuation)
One explained completing the square method in the last post as a way solve quadratic equations. See it here. But one thinks that the example given in the last post will not be enough. Therefore the part 2 of this example mainly contains another example. One only hopes that you will get more understanding as you read this post.

Solution of Quadratic Equations by Completing the Square Method
In the last post one discussed the solution of quadratic equations by factorization. See the post here. In this post one will explain how one can solve quadratic equations through completing the square method.
Now some quadratic equations cannot be solved by factorization. One other method that can be used when one cannot use factorization is completing the square method. One will explain it using examples.
First, test for the availability of factors (although, this may not be necessary in this case as the method of completing the square has been specified). This is because the method of completing the square can be used to solve any quadratic equation.
